Momoi Haruko is a Japanese singer, voice actress, and songwriter, widely seen as an icon of so-called Akiba culture. Starting from late-night radio, she debuted in music with the 2000 single 'Mail Me,' and from 2002 formed the unit UNDER17 with Masaya Koike, pioneering the field of bishojo-game and moe songs. She has also appeared in many works as a voice actress. In anime themes, after UNDER17's breakup she wrote and performed the ending theme 'Tondoru Baby' for the 2005 series 'Akahori Gedou Hour Rabuge,' and sang the ending theme 'Opera Fantasia' for the 2007 series 'Prism Ark.' Championing 'from Akiba to the world,' she has performed actively overseas and built a singular position.
