Yoko Kanno

Yoko Kanno is one of Japan's most celebrated composers of anime and film music. For "Earth Maiden Arjuna" (2001), she composed and arranged the ending track "Teresa." She creates a singular musical world by fusing diverse genres including classical, jazz, and electronica. Her notable works include "Cowboy Bebop," "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex," and "Macross Frontier." Having provided songs for numerous artists including Maaya Sakamoto, she is one of the most influential figures in anime music history.
