Kanako Sakai is a voice actress and singer. In anime, she made her voice acting debut as Aka Onda in 'REC' (2006) while also performing that series' opening theme 'Cheer! ~Makka na Kimochi~,' supporting the work both as actress and singer. The same year she sang 'Soyokaze Life,' the ending theme of 'Binbou Shimai Monogatari,' handling theme songs for two different series in the same period with a bright, approachable pop voice. Her early career is characterized by singing the theme of the very work that launched her as a voice actress.
