Chikutan is the name of a character from 'Bincho-tan' (2006). Voiced by actress Mai Kadowaki, the character performed the series' ending theme 'Bincho Ondo' under that name. Lyrics were written by original creator Tenni Egusa, with composition by Shizuya Imagawa and arrangement by Yujiro Okazaki. Befitting a gentle work themed on a charcoal sprite, it is a fun, danceable ondo-style number. With lyrics by the original author and the cast singing under the character's name as a character song, the track embodied the simple, heartwarming world of the series at its ending.
