Amaetai!! is a cast unit credited under the names of the heroines of the 'Amaenaide yo!!' anime series. It is a large ensemble of voice actresses including Mai Nakahara, Chieko Higuchi, Tomoko Kawakami, Haruhi Terada, Yoshiko Shintani, and Akeno Watanabe, with further members added for the second season 'Amaenaide yo!! Katsu!!' For 'Amaenaide yo!! Katsu!!' (2006) the unit performed the opening theme 'Amaenaide yo!!,' and in the first season the opening theme 'Afureteyuku no wa Kono Kimochi.' With songs by Toshiaki Yamada and others, its lively character-song format, sung en masse by the cast under their character names, brightly colored the comedy set around temple training.
