Marina del ray is an artist who handled many of the theme songs across the anime series 'Ring ni Kakero 1,' adapted from Masami Kurumada's boxing manga. For 'Ring ni Kakero 1: Nichibei Kessen-hen' (2006), the act performed two songs: the opening theme 'Ashita e no Toushi' and the ending theme 'Shining like gold ~Omoide no Kakera~.' 'Ashita e no Toushi' was used throughout the series from the first installment in 2004, with original creator Masami Kurumada himself contributing to the lyrics and Kacky handling composition. With a rock sound that stirs burning fighting spirit, it powerfully colored the boys' boxing drama and became beloved as a voice symbolic of the series' world.
