Mi is a girls band consisting of vocalist Maika, bassist Yuri, and keyboardist Aya, drawing attention with a fresh sound centered on Maika. For the TV anime 'We Were There' (2006), they handled two songs, the opening theme 'Kimi Dake wo...' and the ending theme 'Aishiteru,' supporting the series' themes on both the opening and ending sides. Maika was involved in writing the lyrics for both, and the down-to-earth vocals that complement the delicate emotions of the bittersweet youth love story were memorable.
