Nozomi Sasaki is a voice actress and singer who made her voice acting debut as the heroine Nanami Takahashi in the TV anime 'We Were There', after director Heitaro Daichi heard her voice at an audition. Originally credited under her real name, she switched to her current hiragana stage name around the time the series began airing. In addition to acting, she sang two ending themes for the show, 'Futari no Kisetsu ga' and 'Merry-Go-Round', written by Heitaro Daichi, composed by Jun Abe, and arranged by Seiji Muto. With her unpretentious, clear voice she captured the delicate atmosphere of the pure love story, helping to color the world of her debut work alongside her voice acting career.
