Junko Minagawa is a female voice actress from Ibaraki Prefecture. Skilled at boy roles that make use of her lower voice, her career turning point came in 2001 when she was cast as the protagonist Ryoma Echizen in the TV anime 'The Prince of Tennis'. Highly praised by the original author, she has continued to play that role for many years and is one of its signature cast members. In the 'Negima! Magister Negi Magi' series she voiced Ayaka Yukihiro, a class-representative-type classmate, and in the sequel 'Negima!?' she sang the opening theme 'Eien no Toki wo Koete' as a character song within the series. She is known as a skilled performer who plays a wide range of characters from boys to girls.
