Sema is a female singer who performed 'Umi no Opal', the ending theme of the TV anime 'Soukou no Strain'. Her trademark is a voice imbued with both nostalgia and clarity. The song was written by Midori Ueda and composed and arranged by Yoko Ueno, known from ZABADAK and other projects, who also handled the series' opening theme and insert songs. With her delicate vocals, Sema sang as if to envelop the afterglow of the sad and beautiful story set in space, quietly coloring the show's emotionally rich world in its ending.
