PENICILLIN is a Japanese visual-kei rock band, formed around HAKUEI (Vo), Chisato (G) and O-JIRO (Dr). Armed with an aesthetic, lustrous sound and outstanding melodic sense, they are known as a presence that shaped an era of the visual-kei scene. Their song Romance, the opening theme of the TV anime Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoi yo!! Masaru-san, became the band's biggest hit and was widely beloved. In addition, on Hanazono Kinema, the opening theme of the TV anime Shinseiki-den Mars, they supported the unique world of the series with a mellow, dramatic song.
