Sachiko Yasuda

Sachiko Yasuda is a Japanese classical vocalist and children's song singer. Her younger sister is the singer Saori Yuki. After performing with the Hibari Children's Choir in her youth, she graduated from the vocal music department of the Tokyo University of the Arts Faculty of Music and completed its master's program, and also studied at the Juilliard School in New York. From 1986 the two sisters began holding children's song concerts together, giving numerous performances both in Japan and abroad, and she is widely known for her activities dedicated to passing Japanese songs on to the next generation. She sang the opening Nijiiro no Sunadokei and the ending Hoshi ga Utatta Monogatari for the second series of the NHK Educational TV anime Kasumin as duets with her younger sister Saori Yuki.
