Minao

Minao is a Japanese mixed-gender singer-songwriter unit based in Fukuoka, made up of vocalist Yamaguchi Minako and composer Matsuura Mitsuo. They began their musical activities while studying at the University of Kitakyushu, and after an indie career made their major debut on Victor Entertainment. Their sound is built on an unpretentious, warm acoustic-guitar-based palette and gentle, intimate vocals. They performed 'Yasashii Gogo' and 'Hajimari no Hi', ending themes of the TV anime 'D.N.Angel', and went on to sing 'Tenohira no Hikari', the ending theme of the TV anime 'Bokyaku no Senritsu' (Melody of Oblivion).
