Minao is a Japanese mixed-gender pop unit formed by members who met through a university saxophone club. They are known for an unpretentious, warm sound grounded in acoustic instruments and gentle vocals. They made their major debut with 'Yasashii Gogo' and 'Hajimari no Hi', ending themes of the TV anime 'D.N.Angel', and also performed 'Tenohira no Hikari', the ending theme of the TV anime 'Bokyaku no Senritsu' (Melody of Oblivion).
