DOMINO88 is a Japanese rock band that performed 'Cinderella Boy', the opening theme of the TV anime 'Cinderella Boy'. The series is a late-night action work based on a manga by Monkey Punch, creator of Lupin III—a mysterious story in which the protagonist, who transforms into a woman every night at midnight, gets drawn into various incidents. Echoing the work's bewitching, stylish world, DOMINO88 hurled out a hard, edgy sound that powerfully imprinted the mature tension characteristic of late-night anime. The original soundtrack also includes a long club-mix version, highlighting the track's groove and addictive quality. The band embodied, with a sturdy rock sound, the hard-boiled air that runs through the works of the original creator as well.
