TAKAKO is a Japanese female vocalist who sang 'Out of Eden', the ending theme of the TV anime 'Cinderella Boy'. The series is based on a manga by Monkey Punch, creator of Lupin III—a late-night action work in which the protagonist, who turns into a woman every night at midnight, becomes embroiled in various incidents. Singing 'Out of Eden'—composed by Noriji Nagano, written by Tatsuhiko Go, and arranged by Takeshi Nakabayashi—with her mature, moody vocals, TAKAKO gave the work the bewitching, cool afterglow distinctive of a late-night slot. The original soundtrack also includes an extended version, making it one of the highlights of the soundtrack. Her very mystery and understated presence suited the hard-boiled world of the series and the shadowy mood of its ending well.
