Sowelu is a Japanese female solo singer. With a firm voice rooted in R&B and pop and a dignified approach to ballads, she has made her presence felt through theme songs for dramas and anime since her major debut on Def Star Records. On the anime side, she performed 'I Will', the fourth ending theme of the TV anime 'Fullmetal Alchemist', depicting a prayer-like aftertaste of the brothers who arrive at the end of a long journey. She also sang 'Finally', the opening theme of the TV anime 'Angel Heart' based on the original work by Tsukasa Hojo, dramatically coloring the adult human drama set in Shinjuku.
