HAV is a Japanese mixture rock band formed around Okinawa-born vocalist KAKAZU. Their style combines a straight, punkish band sound with elements of turntables and Okinawan music, mixing them together in a 'champuru' fashion and balancing a core-leaning intensity with pop melodies. For the TV Asahi anime 'PEACE MAKER Kurogane' they handled both the opening theme 'You gonna feel' and the ending theme 'HEY JIMMY!', with lyrics, music and arrangement all by the band themselves. They powerfully drove this turbulent story about the Shinsengumi at the end of the Edo period with rock sound overflowing with youth and high velocity.
