Yo Hitoto is a female singer-songwriter born to a Taiwanese father and a Japanese mother. She is known for her distinctive vocal phrasing and literary lyrical world, and is widely loved for songs such as 'Hanamizuki' and 'Moraii Naki'. Her musical signature lies in blending Eastern sensibilities with modern pop. In anime, she performed both the opening theme 'sunny side up' and the ending theme 'Nen Nen Sai Sai' for 'Aishiteruze Baby', based on the original work by Yoko Maki, accompanying the warm daily life of the protagonist Kippei Katakura and his young niece Yuzuyu Sakashita.
