Roppongi Men's Chorus

Artist

The Roppongi Male Chorus is a male choral group gathered under conductor and composer Shigeaki Saegusa, made up of celebrities from various fields, including business figures, politicians, athletes, and cultural figures. Although not a professional chorus, their rich, full choral expression is highly regarded. In anime, they performed the opening theme 'Tetsujin 28-go' and the ending theme 'Susume Shotaro' for the remake of 'Tetsujin 28-go' (2004 version), based on the original work by Mitsuteru Yokoyama. Layering the heavy resonance unique to a male chorus over the majestic, powerful arrangements by Akira Senju, they boldly colored the Showa-era romance and heroic world of the original.
