Sunbrain is a Japanese male music unit formed by composers Yasuhiro Minami (microman) and Manabu Marutani. Drawing on their respective careers as composers, they combine robust sound design that fuses electronics with rock and melodic vocal lines. On the anime front, they performed 'emotion', the opening theme of the TV anime Beet the Vandel Buster, based on the shonen manga written by Riku Sanjo and illustrated by Koji Inada. With driving rock tunes and passion-tinged vocals, they powerfully colored this orthodox fantasy-action story in which boy Vandel Buster Beet and his companions face off against the 'Vandels', demons threatening the human world.
