refio + Haruka Shimotsuki is a unit comprising game-music composer refio (later active as kukui) and female singer Haruka Shimotsuki. Their signature is a distinctive world in which Shimotsuki's translucent, fantastical singing voice fuses with refio's progressive and lyrical sound design. On the anime front, they performed 'Toumei Shelter', the ending theme of the TV anime Rozen Maiden, based on the manga by PEACH-PIT.
