UNCO☆STAR is a project unit formed specifically for the TV Tokyo-network anime Aa-kue to Gachinpo and its sequel Aa-kue to Gachinpo Tenkomori. To match the comical, laid-back style of the series, based on the Taiwanese character franchise 'A-Kuei's Family', they provide upbeat, fun songs. On the anime front, they handled 'Ura Gachinpo no Theme', the opening theme, and 'Pai Pai Pipes Bye Bye Bye!', the ending theme, of the series. Featuring unique lyrics and catchy rhythms that drew attention especially among children, the songs strongly imprinted the surreal slice-of-life comedy world on audiences from the musical side.
