Duran Duran is a rock band from Birmingham, England, that became a symbol of the New Romantic movement of the early 1980s and achieved worldwide popularity. With a sound fusing synth-pop and funk and a refined visual style, they became icons of MTV's golden age and are a veteran band. Their early signature song 'Girls on Film' was chosen as the opening theme of the TV anime 'SPEED GRAPHER', produced by GONZO and centered on a photographer, engraving a provocative rock sound into its decadent, transgressive story world.
