Tomoko Tane

Artist

Tomoko Tane is a veteran female singer-songwriter and arranger from Kyoto Prefecture who has been active since the 1980s with a distinctive sense of rhythm and a richly poetic worldview. With a voice that combines clarity and strength, she has continued to release works that are not bound by the frames of pop and rock. Her single 'Broken Wings' was adopted as the ending theme for the TV anime 'Trinity Blood', based on the novel by Sunao Yoshida, and a solemn, beautiful ballad with some English lyrics accompanies the loneliness and prayer of the protagonist Abel, who stands between vampires and humanity in a post-apocalyptic world.
