Biyuuden is a female idol unit affiliated with Hello! Project, active as a three-member group with leader Rika Ishikawa joined by Erika Miyoshi and Yui Okada. Under the concept of conveying the beauty and valor of Japanese women, they handled a wide range of songs from mellow Japanese-flavored numbers to bright pop. Their single 'Ajisai Ai Ai Monogatari' was chosen as the opening theme for the TV anime 'Patalliro Saiyuuki!', based on the original manga of the same name by Mineo Maya, and a Japanese-pop sound produced by Tsunku glamorously colored this bizarre, comical take on Journey to the West.
