Tommy february6 is the solo project of Tomoko Kawase, the vocalist of the brilliant green. Her artistic creed is a cute and girlish worldview strongly reflecting a longing for 1980s dance and electropop, and she has won wide support with her coquettish singing voice. She performed 'Lonely in Gorgeous', the opening theme of the anime 'Paradise Kiss', based on Ai Yazawa's fashion coming-of-age manga. With synth-pop carrying a whiff of British rock, the song vividly portrays both the glamour and the loneliness of the heroine as she is drawn into ParaKiss, a group of unique individuals aspiring to become designers.
