Mayu is a Japanese female singer active in the fields of bishoujo games and anime songs. With her clear voice and fresh, poppy melodic expression as her weapons, she has contributed to numerous tie-in songs. She performed 'Ramune-iro no Melody', the opening theme of the TV anime 'Ramune' broadcast on KTV and other stations, with lyrics by TOM, music by Raito, and arrangement by Yugo Kanno. Wrapping the youthful love story, set against a backdrop of faint feelings for a childhood friend and summer memories in a seaside town, in emotions as refreshing and bittersweet as ramune bubbles, it lightly sings of the protagonists' straightforward feelings.
