Hideaki Tokunaga is one of Japan's leading singer-songwriters, known for his delicate and translucent high-toned voice. Active at the forefront for many years as a master of ballads, he has also gained wide support through works such as the 'VOCALIST' series, in which he self-covers female vocal songs. For anime themes, he sings 'Boku ni Dekiru Koto', the ending theme for the giant robot anime 'Gaiking: Legend of Daiku-Maryu'. Also composing the song himself, he gently illuminates the hesitation and resolve of boys facing mighty enemies with his enveloping voice.
