amplified is a three-piece male rock band formed by childhood friends who met at an international school in Hong Kong. Built around Chris Edwards, Terrence Ma and Kai, their distinctive style is catchy, melodious pop rock with mainly English lyrics. After being selected through Sony Music's international audition, they made their Japanese debut and handled 'MR.RAINDROP', the ending theme for the popular SF comedy TV anime 'Gintama', based on Hideaki Sorachi's manga. The pop and sweet sound using raindrops as its motif and the English lyrics create a light afterglow that slips gently into the everyday life of the Yorozuya in Kabukicho, and the song has been long loved by fans as one of the series' most representative ending tracks.
