Satoko Shimonari
Artist
A singer-songwriter active since the 1980s whose hallmark is a delicate, lyrical voice. For the World Masterpiece Theater work 'Princess Sara' she sang 'Hana no Sasayaki' and 'Himawari', richly coloring the story of a girl thrown into harsh circumstances. She also handled 'Otou-sama e no Lullaby' for the World Masterpiece Theater's 'Tales of Little Women' and the opening 'Wood Walker' and ending 'Hoshizora no Labyrinth' for 'The Great Adventures of Robin Hood'. In later years she sang the ending 'Itsuka Hoshi no Umi de' for the Sunrise Brave-series 'The King of Braves GaoGaiGar' and the opening of the third 'Himitsu no Akko-chan' series, continuing to deliver her clear voice across generations.
