A rock band from Osaka formed in 1989. They made their major debut on For Life Records in 1994, won a following for their beautiful melodies and sweet turn of phrase, disbanded in 1999 and reunited in 2019. For 'Azuki-chan', the 117-episode series by Yasushi Akimoto and Chika Kimura aired in NHK's satellite anime slot from 1995 to 1998, they sang the opening 'Suteki na Kimi' across all three seasons, while their ending 'Yoake' was used in the first season before Azusa Noyama (Yukana)'s 'Arukou' took over. Both songs have lyrics by Nobuhiro Aku, music by Takuji Miki and arrangement by RAZZ MA TAZZ with Yu Imai, and were released as the 1995 single 'Yoake / Suteki na Kimi'. Their warm melodies, attuned to everyday life, gently draw out a story of adolescent crushes and friendship.
