The "Progressive" series retells the death game "Sword Art Online" — where game over means real death — floor by floor from the very beginning. This highly anticipated second animated film takes place on the 5th floor of Aincrad, where Kirito and Asuna embark on a new adventure.
The original story is by Reki Kawahara with illustrations by abec. Directed by Ayako Kohno, with character design by Kento Toya, and music by Yuki Kajiura. Animation production by A-1 Pictures.
The cast features Haruka Tomatsu as Asuna, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Kirito, and Shiori Izawa as Argo.
