Based on the Chinese fantasy tale by Kouko Shirakawa, published under Shueisha's Orange Bunko label. With over 1.2 million copies in print, this popular series tells the story of Ryuu Jusetsu, a special consort known as the "Raven Consort" who dwells deep within the inner palace, and the young Emperor Ka Koushun.
Directed by Chizuru Miyawaki, series composition by Satomi Oshima, original character design by Ayuko, character design by Shinji Takeuchi, music by Asami Tachibana, animation production by BN Pictures.
The cast features Saku Mizuno as Ryuu Jusetsu, Masaaki Mizunaka as Ka Koushun, Taku Yashiro as Ei Sei, Marika Takano as Kyuukyuu, Nobunaga Shimazaki as On Kei, and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Tankai.
