"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump." The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was slaughtered by demons, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his demonized sister Nezuko back into a human. Animation production is by ufotable, directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with character design by Akira Matsushima.
In the "Mugen Train Arc," Tanjiro and his companions board the Mugen Train alongside Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, where they clash with Lower Rank One Enmu and Upper Rank Three Akaza. The 2020 film broke Japan's all-time box office record, and a TV anime version with new episodes aired in 2021.
Following the special broadcast, the latest information on the next arc, the "Swordsmith Village Arc," will be announced.
