"Demon Slayer" World Tour Screening Opens February 3 — Orchestra Concert "Kimetsu no Kanade" Also Announced

At Jump Festa 2023, it was announced that the "World Tour Screening: Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Upper Rank Assembly, and Off to the Swordsmith Village" will open on Friday, February 3, 2023. In addition to the first theatrical screening of Episodes 10 and 11 of the "Entertainment District Arc," Episode 1 of the "Swordsmith Village Arc" will premiere worldwide.



The screening will take place at 418 theaters nationwide in Japan (377 standard + 41 IMAX), fully upconverted to 4K with music remixed for theatrical environments. As an admission bonus, a special 20-page booklet, the "Upper Rank Assembly Book" — featuring a special interview with Natsuki Hanae, chief animation director corrections, and cast comments — will be distributed, limited to 2 million copies nationwide.

The orchestra concert "Kimetsu no Kanade" Entertainment District Arc was also announced, to be held at Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall on March 11-12, 2023, with two performances daily; the evening performance on the 12th will be live-streamed online.



"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump." The TV anime "Swordsmith Village Arc" begins airing on the nationwide Fuji TV network in April 2023. Animation production by ufotable.
