Based on the manga by Hiroshi Noda (story) and Takahiro Wakamatsu (art) serialized on Shogakukan's Manga One and Ura Sunday, the story begins when a literary master known as "Sensei" — who attempted double suicide — wakes up in an unfamiliar other world. This unique fantasy comedy follows the misanthropic writer, who desires only to return to the real world and die, as he navigates life among the inhabitants of this new realm. The teaser visual depicts Sensei at his manuscript desk with the other world spreading behind him.
