Based on the light novel by Yu Okano published by Overlap Bunko, the story follows Rentt, an eternally bronze-rank adventurer who is killed by a powerful dragon during a dungeon crawl — only to be reborn as the weakest of monsters, a Skeleton. In this "rise from the ashes" fantasy, Rentt evolves through increasingly powerful undead forms as he fights to regain his human body. The key visual features Rentt in his skeletal form at the center, surrounded by his childhood friend Lorraine, guild receptionist Sheila, and rookie adventurer Lina. Animation is produced by CONNECT.
