The OP theme is "Shouted Serenade" by LiSA (lyrics and composition by Tomoya Tabuchi, arrangement by Shota Horie). This marks LiSA's first theme song for the series in 10 years, since Season 1's OP "Rising Hope."
"The Irregular at Magic High School" is based on the novels by Tsutomu Sato (KADOKAWA, Dengeki Bunko). Season 3 consists of three arcs — the Double Seven Arc, Steeplechase Arc, and Ancient City Insurrection Arc — depicting the new battles of Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba as second-year students.
Directed by Jimmy Stone, scripts by Munemasa Nakamoto, character design and chief animation direction by Kana Ishida, music by Taku Iwasaki, animation production by 8bit.
