Based on the web novel by Miya Kinojo published by Overlap, the series has surpassed 2 million copies in circulation. The story follows Banaza, who was summoned as a hero candidate but rejected — only for it to turn out he possessed cheat-level abilities from as early as Level 2. While the chosen heroes set off to defeat the Demon Lord, Banaza instead enjoys a relaxed life in another world alongside the fluffy Fenris.
