Based on the light novel and manga by Kurone Kanzaki (original story) and Amaru Minotake (manga), published by Futabasha, the series follows a salaryman who played the role of a 'Demon Lord' in a game and finds himself transported into that game world, embarking on adventures alongside a young girl named Aku. The key visual features the catchphrase 'Break the chains with the bonds we have woven!' with protagonist Hakuto Kunai and Aku at the center, joined by Luna, Eagle, and Akane.
Animation production is by Gekko, directed by Kazuomi Koga.
