Series Overview
"Ranma 1/2" is Rumiko Takahashi's martial-arts romantic comedy manga, serialized in Shogakukan's "Weekly Shonen Sunday." It follows martial artist Ranma Saotome, who transforms into a girl when splashed with cold water, and his fiancee Akane Tendo, alongside a colorful cast of characters in a chaotic comedy. This new adaptation faithfully restarts the story from episode one as a "fully new" anime. Animation production is by MAPPA.
