"Call of the Night" is based on the vampire romantic comedy manga by Kotoyama, serialized in Shogakukan's "Weekly Shonen Sunday." Season 2 follows the new developments between Ko, who has decided to fall in love with Nazuna after overcoming his hesitation about becoming a vampire, and Nazuna, who has resolved to make Ko fall for her. As detective Anko Uguisu closes in with plans to kill vampires, Nazuna's hidden past begins to unravel.
