"Fate/EXTRA Last Encore" is a TV anime that aired in 2018, based on the game "Fate/EXTRA" by TYPE-MOON and Marvelous. Set in "SE.RA.PH," the inner world of the Moon Cell Automaton — a spiritron computer on the moon capable of granting any wish — the story depicts a new "Holy Grail War of the Moon" fought between mages (Masters) and heroic spirits (Servants) over the Holy Grail.
Chief direction by Akiyuki Shinbo, character design and chief animation direction by Masaaki Takiyama and Hiroki Yamamura, music by Satoru Kosaki (MONACA), animation production by SHAFT.
