This spinoff takes the unnamed henchmen from Buronson and Tetsuo Hara's legendary "Fist of the North Star" and puts them center stage. Based on the manga by Hiroshi Kurao, it is the debut production from the next-generation anime label "Animatica" (Frontier Works x Doraku). Set in a post-nuclear war world, the story follows Nobu, who lands a job at the fearsome King's Army, a workplace where deaths outnumber new recruits. The series is described as a "die-a-lot comedy."
The key visual depicts the henchmen marching boldly forward with the King's Army emblem looming in the background, rendered in a dynamic style that pays homage to the original manga's dramatic art.
