Based on the manga by Norishiro-chan (story) and Sakana Uozumi (art) published by Coamix, the story follows Takuya Seo, a quiet and unnoticeable otaku high school boy who unexpectedly gets approached by his classmates, the gals Kei Amane and Kotoko Ijichi. Amane is cool but somewhat scatterbrained with hints of being a fellow otaku, while Ijichi is cheerful and gets closer both in seating and in distance. This love comedy depicts how two gals with completely different charms and an otaku boy grow closer through their shared hobbies.
Animation production is handled by TMS Entertainment / Studio 6. The revealed teaser visual vividly depicts Kei Amane and Kotoko Ijichi taking a selfie together in the city streets.
