Based on the web manga by Renkinou (story), Kawaku (art), and Whomor (concept/production) serialized on LINE Manga by LINE Digital Frontier, the story follows Rood, an E-rank adventurer whose only skill is the seemingly useless "status ailment nullification." However, he possesses a unique constitution that allows him to acquire monster abilities by consuming their meat. After meeting Elicia, a former S-rank elf adventurer living in hiding, Rood begins devouring monsters and gaining new skills as he aims to rise through the adventurer ranks. The key visual depicts Rood standing his ground surrounded by multiple monsters while Elicia releases green magical energy. Animation is produced by Imagica Infos / IMAGEWORKS STUDIO with production cooperation from nanogram.inc.
