TV Anime "Awajima Hyakkei" ED Theme Song "Hikari" by Mika Nakashima Announced, 3rd PV Released. Premieres April 9 on Fuji TV

"Awajima Hyakkei," a TV anime based on the Japan Media Arts Festival Excellence Award-winning manga by Takako Shimura—creator of "Sweet Blue Flowers" and "Wandering Son"—depicting a youth drama set in an opera school. During the Episode 1 online advance screening and pre-broadcast live stream held on March 1, the 4th character visual and 3rd PV were revealed along with new information.



The ending theme song has been announced as "Hikari" by Mika Nakashima. A preview of the song can be heard in the 3rd PV. The series premieres on April 9, 2026 (Thursday) at 25:45 on Fuji TV and other stations.

Comment from Mika Nakashima:
"I am so happy to be performing the ending theme for Awajima Hyakkei. I put the message into this song that 'even when you are lost, there is always light ahead on the path you have taken' and 'I hope you find your own light and let it shine.' I can't wait for the anime to air! I hope you enjoy the music along with the show."



The 4th character visual was also revealed along with three new cast members. Kana Ichinose voices Takanashi Sara, a cheerful and friendly preparatory student who enrolled at Awajima inspired by Takanashi Haru (Kinue's stage name). Risa Shimizu voices Fujisawa Eri, who enrolled at Awajima after being hurt by relationships in middle school; she also admires Takanashi Haru. Asuna Tomari voices Utagawa Shizuka, a calm and composed preparatory student who is a fan of Kabuki Yuki (Yamagata Saori's stage name) and had secretly aspired to attend Awajima since middle school.

The opening theme song is "blue hour" by Hana Hope.
