Ayanokoji and his classmates have been promoted to second year but find themselves back in D-Class. With the new school year, an app called OAA that numerically displays every student's abilities is introduced. The first special exam of their second year is announced: a written test where second-year and first-year students pair up as partners, using OAA scores as reference.
