After being transported to "Japan" in the final episode of 2nd season, Sid's adventures as the "Eminence in Shadow" unfold in modern-day Japan.
The main cast has been announced, with Yukari Tamura voicing the new character Yuuka Asakura, a doctor at the human settlement "Messiah."
Seiichiro Yamashita (Sid Kagenou/Shadow) commented: "It's been about two years since the Lost Echoes announcement. The joy of saying 'we've kept you waiting!' is immense. For me, Lost Echoes is both a reunion and a culmination."
Yui Horie (Akane Nishino) commented: "She only appeared in Episode 1 of Season 1 and the final episode of Season 2, so I was quite surprised to hear she'd be in the movie! (laughs)"
Inori Minase (Beta) commented: "Beta is Beta no matter where she is, so I could record with confidence. In this film, you'll get to enjoy even her eccentric side."
Yukari Tamura (Yuuka Asakura) commented: "Dr. Yuuka is a character who is calm yet capable, and was very rewarding to play."
Takehito Koyasu (Mordred) commented: "Yes, I did vanish in the TV series. So how am I in the movie? I don't know either! Regardless, Mordred shall grace your presence once more! Look forward to my gallant figure!"
