To celebrate, congratulatory comments and illustrations have been shared by original author Koji Yanagi, director Kazuya Nomura, series composer/screenwriter Taku Kishimoto, original character designer Shirow Miwa, character designer Toshiyuki Yahagi, and Kenyu Horiuchi (voice of Colonel Yuuki).
Author Koji Yanagi reflected on the anime staff's deep understanding of the source material, praising the brilliant narrative structure: "The anime split each original chapter into two episodes, with the first showing the protagonist's first-person perspective and the second switching to Colonel Yuuki's third-person viewpoint."
Director Kazuya Nomura revealed behind-the-scenes stories from the production, sharing how early discussions over drinks helped build the creative foundation for the series.
